At a glance

ShiftLedger keeps your work records in private storage on your Android device. It does not require an account or display advertising. Optional address searches, external maps, exports and email can involve other services, as explained below.

This policy explains how ShiftLedger: Work Time Tracker handles information. It covers Android version 0.4.9 (versionCode 17) and this policy website. The developer is VSP CREATIVE STUDIO TEAM. For privacy questions, contact tracker.gigamax@gmail.com.

1. Information you keep in ShiftLedger

ShiftLedger is a personal work-time tracker. It stores information you enter and records created while you use its features in the app's private storage on your Android device. Depending on your use, these records include:

Sick-leave entries and notes can reveal health information. You do not need to enter a diagnosis or medical details to record time off. ShiftLedger is not a medical service.

ShiftLedger does not require an account. Version 0.4.9 does not display advertising or send analytics events to the developer. It does not automatically upload your work records to a developer-operated server.

2. Location and notifications

If you choose location-based tracking and grant the required Android permissions, ShiftLedger uses location to recognize your position relative to your configured worksites and support time tracking. The app handles location on your device for this purpose.

Location tracking can use an Android foreground service with an ongoing notification. While this service is running, tracking may continue when the app's screen is not visible. This version does not request Android's background-location permission.

You can stop tracking in the app and manage or revoke location and notification permissions in Android settings. Disabling permissions can prevent the corresponding optional features from working.

Android and your device's location-service providers may also process information when supplying location to an app. Their processing is governed by their own settings and privacy policies.

3. Address lookup, maps and exports

Address lookup

When you request an address lookup, ShiftLedger uses Android's system Geocoder. The system's provider may send the entered address or search query over the network to return a location. The provider and its data handling depend on your device. Address lookup is handled by the system provider; it does not automatically upload your other ShiftLedger work records to the developer.

External maps

If you choose to open a worksite in an external maps app, the relevant location or address is passed to that app. Its own privacy policy applies.

Exports

If you choose to export records, ShiftLedger creates the requested CSV or JSON file. A storage location, service or receiving app that you select may receive that file and its contents. Exports may contain personal or sensitive information from your records. Review the file before sharing it and choose recipients carefully. Copies you save or share are outside ShiftLedger's private app storage.

4. Storage, retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you remove them or clear the app's data. You can remove the app's local data through Android's app-storage settings or by uninstalling the app. These actions do not remove exported files, copies in other apps or services, or information you have already shared with someone else. Delete those copies separately where you saved or sent them.

Android automatic app backup is disabled in this version. User-created exports remain under your control. Keep an export yourself if you need to preserve records before clearing app storage or uninstalling.

The developer cannot remotely access, restore or delete records that exist only in your device's app storage. There is no ShiftLedger online account to delete.

5. Protecting your information

Records are kept in Android's private app storage rather than a public app folder. Access also depends on your device's security. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep Android updated. Exports and shared copies are protected by the destination you select.

Do not send passwords, unnecessary medical details or a full work-record export in a support request. No storage or communication system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Contacting the developer

Privacy contact: tracker.gigamax@gmail.com
Developer: VSP CREATIVE STUDIO TEAM.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to handle your request. We retain correspondence while handling it; afterwards, we keep only information needed for a related unresolved issue, a specific legal claim or a mandatory retention period, and delete it when that need ends. Email is processed by the email service providers involved.

You can use the same address to ask about your support correspondence or request its deletion. This does not give us access to records stored only on your device.

7. This policy website

This is a static information page hosted through OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers. Hosting providers process the technical information needed to deliver and protect web requests, such as IP address and request information, under their applicable privacy policies. This page does not read your ShiftLedger records and has no developer-added advertising, analytics scripts, contact form or user account.

See OpenAI's privacy policy for information about the hosting provider's practices.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the app's information-handling practices change. The effective date above identifies the current policy. Questions can be sent to the privacy contact above.

9. Operator, rights and shared provisions

The operator is Іван Святківський, publishing as VSP CREATIVE STUDIO TEAM. The shared privacy notice explains our handling of support email, the policy website, applicable legal bases, international processing and your rights. It forms part of this notice. The app-specific explanations above govern ShiftLedger features.

App permissions let you control optional device features; granting a permission or using the app is not blanket consent to unrelated processing. We do not receive the local work records described above. These local records are separate from information you choose to email us.
